I've been working in health and fitness for 20 years. Starting off as a fitness consultant working on the gym floor. Quickly progressing to studio coordinator then fitness manager for two gyms. I decided to go into just teaching studio based classes in 2002 and never looked back. I LOVE IT.
Over the last 18 years I have been very fortunate and have met 1000s of people many of whom I now my friends. Over the years I have changed my focus as my life changed, but I always keep to my mission statement that FITNESS SHOULD BE AFFORDABLE, FUN, AND SUSTAINABLE so you meet your aims and goals.  Taking over The Barns Fitness Studios from the 1st January 2018 I am very excited to see where this new journey takes me.

After spending a number of years doing every “diet” in the book from cabbage diet to WW to not eating and all I achieved was gaining more weight every time I “fell off the wagon”.When I got married, I was at my heaviest and then one day I looked in the mirror and thought enough! I was in my late 20’s, a size 18/20 and unhealthy. That’s when my “new life” began. I started to walk and just think about what I was eating. As my confidence got a bit better i joined some classes. My walking became running, my waistline decreased and my love of exercise increased. That’s when I thought, I can help other people achieve this ...... and the rest as they say is history.

Erin Lawrence-Earey

I first practiced yoga at the age of six, and although I don’t remember much of it, I remember being particularly good at making myself all cosy in savasana! I came back to yoga at thirteen and fell in love with it straight away. After experiencing some issues with anxiety and an eating disorder, it was the perfect moving meditation to help re-connect back in with myself. My practice soon became a regular habit, and I knew as soon as I could I would become a yoga teacher. A few years later, I love passing on the teachings of yoga even more than I thought I ever could. In my classes there is always a chance to wiggle and flow your way through, and hopefully be able to take that feeling of peace and loving yourself for who you are off the mat and into your day to day life. I aim to bring fluidity, grace and a sense of lightness into my classes as we play around with the strength and softness in yoga.
